Rookie Year

Undrafted

Victor is proof that going undrafted doesn't get in the way of greatness. As an undrafted free agent in 2010, he impressively played his way onto the Giants' 53-man regular season roster. By the end of the 2011 season, he finished with a single season franchise record for receiving yards and was named second team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

XLVI

NFL Champion

Considered a “Christmas Eve Miracle”, Victor wowed the stadium during week 16 of the 2011 season with a 99-yard touchdown, which tied an NFL record for the longest touchdown reception. Later that same season, Victor played an integral part of the Giants Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots and would end that season with 80 receptions, 1,500+ receiving yards and 9 touchdowns.

Lifestyle

Fashion Icon

Off the field, Victor is recognized as a fashion tastemaker. In 2014 he was named on Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed List and has also been featured in GQ, AQ and Vogue magazines. In 2016, he was recognized by Sports Illustrated as the most fashionable athlete and released the Air Trainer Cruz, being the first athlete to design and release a lifestyle shoe with NIKE.

Give Back

Philanthropist

Victor devotes his time to numerous causes and is an active philanthropist. He launched the Victor Cruz Foundation in 2014, which encourages children to become physically active and focuses on college readiness, financial literacy and STEM programming. In 2016, in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of America, the VCF launched and implemented the “Science in Sports” program.

Next

Post-Game

In 2018, Victor officially retired from the NFL and now serves as a regular contributor for E! Entertainment and other media outlets. He also launched 100k Ventures, a Flint, MI accelerator venture capitalist group. He’s worked with the likes of Hublot, Pierre Hardy, Amazon and Ladder. From partnerships to ownership, Victor continues to make his mark in the worlds of sports, fashion, business and entertainment.
