Justin Moore

Scouting Report

At 6’ 4” and 210 pounds, Justin certainly has the size of an NBA player. He is a player that always plays at his own pace; the defense almost never speeds him up or slows him down from what he wants to do. This allows him to play a very controlled game.
The threat of his three-point shot, another important facet of a professional player, keeps his defenders close at the perimeter and constantly having to make decisions, which allows him to add to his midrange game. His play in the midrange is very advanced and the area where most of his isolation scoring takes place.
He is very efficient both off the dribble and backing down his defender in the high or low post. Combine those together with his ability around the rim, and you have a three-level scorer who can play at all levels.

2018

High School

Justin attended Dematha Catholic HS where he was selected to the 2019 Nike Hoops Summit and was listed No. 52 in the ESPN.com Top 100 Prospects of 2019.

2019-2020

All-Freshman Team

Justin entered college basketball with force, as during his freshman season he was a unanimous selection to the Big East All-Freshmen Team. During the season he led all Big East freshmen in scoring (11.3 ppg). He also was a four-time recipient of the Big East Freshmen of the Week Award.
To coincide with the accolades, Justin tormented Big East teams, collecting season-high nine rebounds against Georgetown, dropping 19 points against Seton Hall, and leading a Nova W against St. John’s by dropping 21 points to go with six rebounds.
Justin applied pressure in non-Conference games as well. He became the first player in ten years to earn Big East Freshmen of the Week in three consecutive weeks on December 16 thanks to his 16 points and three assists against Delaware.

2020-2021

Sophomore

Justin started in 24 of 25 games and served as one of the Wildcats’ primary playmakers as he averaged 12.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game. He also continued improving his handling of the rock as he enhanced his assist-to-turnover ratio (74 assists to 38 turnovers). His effective season ranged from Postseason to Big East and Non-Conference games, he notched a season-high 24 points on March 3 as Nova defeated Creighton. As for Non-Conference games, Justin’s performances against Harfford and Texas helped him win Philadelphia Big Five Player of the Week on December 7. Other highlights during his sophomore year included a 15 point, 5 assist performance as Nova knocked off North Texas in the Postseason.

2021-2022

Junior Year

In his Junior year, Justin is continuing to put not just the Big East, but all conferences on notice as he is averaging 15.3 points per game to go with 4.1 rebounds per game and 2.3 assists per game.
