2017

St. Ignatius

Darian spent his High School career playing at the powerhouse St. Ignatius program in Cleveland. Darian’s HS career was stacked with various accolades including a four-star rating from ESPN, and 247Sports rating him one of the Top 20 offensive tackles in the country. He was also selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American game. After weighing multiple offers from impressive programs, Darian chose the Blue Grass State.



2018

Early Contributor

Darian kicked off his UK career by playing in 9 games and starting in two of the last 3. His contributions were immediate as he helped lead a Kentucky offensive line that blocked for numerous season highs. The team set those season highs including: 56 points, 601 yards total offense, 29 first downs and 340 rushing yards at Louisville. Darian earned his keep among his UK teammates as he did not allow any sacks.


2019

Full-Time Starter

Darian took the momentum into his Sophomore campaign as he finished Second-team offensive tackle while starting in all 13 games at right tackle. He had 32 knockdowns during the season and an eye-popping 1 penalty in 706 total snaps. The record books were up for grabs as well as he helped pave the road for single-season school records with 3,624 rushing yards, 36 rushing touchdowns, and 6.3 yards per carry. A stand out performance came against UT Martin where DK graded at 93 percent in helping lead Kentucky to two single-game school records -- 462 rushing yards and 10.3 yards per rushing attempt.


2020

All-SEC

DK put the football world on notice during his outstanding Junior year campaign when he notched a number of accolades and accomplishments including: Second-Team All-American (Sporting News, CBS/247sports), Third-Team All-American, First-Team All-SEC, AND Second-Team All-SEC (Coaches). He finished the season having started in all 11 games and graded at 87.4 percent with 47 knockdowns and 142 blocks at the point of attack.


2021

All-American

Darian cemented his stand our career at Kentucky during his season year as he was Consensus First-Team All-American, first offensive lineman to hold that distinction since 1965 and was UK's 12th Consensus All-American. Other accolades he racked up included: First-Team All-America (AFCA, AP, FWAA, Walter Camp, CBS Sports, Phil Steele, Reese’s Senior Bowl), Second-Team All-American (The Sporting News, PFF, The Athletic, USA Today Sports), and First-Team All-SEC (AP, PFF, Coaches, Phil Steele, USA Today Network). Across the season, DK led the "Big Blue Wall" with 30 knockdown blocks which contributed to Pro Football Focus evaluation of him as one of only three Power Five tackles to grade at 85 or better as a run and pass blocker.
