2013

Drafted

Christian Arroyo was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the first round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. He was committed to the University of Florida to play college baseball but signed his 1st professional contract with the Giants.



2017

Debut

Made his major league debut for the SF Giants on April 24 vs. LAD at 21 years old. Christian became the first player drafted out of high school in the 2013 June Draft class to make his MLB debut. His first hit in the show coming off Dodgers ace, Clayton Kershaw.


2018

Tampa Bay

Appeared in 20 games and made 16 starts with Tampa Bay. Christian got his first hit as a Ray on May 17 against LAA and on June 8 vs. Seattle, his 5th-inning solo homer was his first with the team.


2020

Boston

Joined Boston in August and made his Red Sox debut on September 8th. Christian ended the season by playing in 15 of the club’s final 18 games and finishing with three home runs.


2021

ALCS Run

Christian established himself as a key member of Boston’s Opening Day roster and ended the season slugging 6 home runs and 25 RBIs. He went on to appear in 11 postseason games, helping Boston advance to the ALCS.
