2002-2003

First Team Debut

Carlton made his Chelsea first-team debut in April ‘02, scoring six goals in all that season. A special mention goes to a superb long-range left-footed strike against Sunderland! Carlton signed a new 6-year contract with Chelsea in the Summer of 2003.

2006

West Ham United

Made a change and joined West Ham United on a four-year-contract in July 2006 coming off a total of 31 league and cup appearances for Chelsea, scoring eight goals. Carlton actually scored seconds into his West Ham debut!

2008

Breakout Season

Scored twelve goals in all, as well as adding a further four assists. Even started the season on fire, scoring four goals in the first eight matches!

2011

History Books

This season was one for the history books....Carlton scored his 50th career goal for West Ham. Another highlight was scoring the first goal in the Hammers' 2-1 win over Blackpool in the play-off final, locking in a return to the Premier League. CArlton ended the season having played 43 games in all competitions, scoring 15 goals, with 14 coming in league games. Not to mention ending the season as West Ham’s top goal scorer.

These days

Mentoring at West Ham and serves as a personality for BBC Sport and Sky Sports.
